Since Ifill came to Massasoit as a student in the 1980s, he has been a dedicated leader in our community.  He credits much of his success to his education, made possible through the support, guidance, and friendship of Massasoit’s Ida Cerezo O’Donnell – the namesake of the College’s Unity Center.  Ifill and his future wife, Kulnathee, were among many international students who came to the United States and Massasoit seeking a better lives for themselves and their families.  While a student, he was president of the International Touch Club, which represents the interests of Massasoit’s diverse student body.

Ifill has remained connected to Massasoit all his life. He was named to the Board of Trustees in 2007 and served as its chair from 2012-2017.  On June 1, 2024, he served as the Keynote Speaker at Massasoit’s 57th Commencement Exercises.

Ifill’s drive to help others led to an outstanding 30-year career in probation services – beginning as a juvenile probation officer, later becoming a Chief Probation Officer, Regional Supervisor, Deputy Commissioner, and in November 2023, he was sworn in as the 10th Commissioner of Probation.

Ifill’s tree dedication was held on Thursday, November 14 at the College’s Brockton Campus.  Those in attendance included his wife and three children, friends, colleagues in the Probation Service, current and former Massasoit trustees, and several Massasoit employees.  His tree is located on “Trustee Row” adjacent to the Asiaf Field House and across from where Massasoit hosts its annual Commencement Exercises.
