Massasoit supports its thousands of students through a range of initiatives, including academic advising, career and transfer support, tutoring, access and disability accommodations, and more. But many students need help with the basic needs of life – including social and financial resources and physical and behavioral health.
The Pantry is located in the Brockton Campus Student Center, room 136 (lower level).
The Pantry Hours are Monday - Thursday 9:30am-2:30pm.

“Every Massasoit student comes to us facing their own challenges,” said Joe Harris, Massasoit’s Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management. “For us, that means we need to find different ways to ensure we are meeting their needs and helping them turn challenges into opportunities.”
The College’s most visible and well-known support program is The Pantry, located in the Brockton Campus Student Center. Opened in 2019, The Pantry provides students and members of the community with access to nutritious groceries, meals, and snacks.
In 2024-2025, over 58,000 pounds of food was distributed to students and community households. There were nearly 7,500 visits from students and 765 community household visits over the course of the year.
The Pantry is stocked with a wide range of shelf-stable foods like canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, soup, cereal, and more. Additionally, commercial-grade refrigerators allow The Pantry to maintain a small stock of perishable items. Students can even drop in daily to pick up a snack to help them get through their busy day on campus!
Our work to address food insecurity on our campuses is just one part of addressing basic needs at Massasoit. We offer students access to a range of resources.

The Pantry is always accepting donations - please consider dropping off items in donation boxes located across our Brockton, Canton, and Middleborough locations.
