Massasoit's Student Health & Wellness team supports students’ holistic health and well-being.

- Whitman Counseling: Massasoit maintains a partnership with Whitman Counseling, which offers Massasoit students free mental health counseling.
- Uwill: With Uwill, students can connect with a licensed counselor on their terms: free, confidential, and available right away.
General College Immunizations
Required for all full-time students under the age of 30.
Massachusetts requires all full-time students (those taking 12 credit hours or more and are under the age of 30) and all students on a visa to provide proof of immunization for measles, mumps, rubella; tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (tdap); hepatitis B; varicella; and the meningococcal vaccine.

Center for Basic Needs Security
The Center for Basic Needs Security provides resources for students, faculty, and community members. At Massasoit Community College we learn as whole people. To learn effectively you must have basic security: a roof over your head, a safe place to sleep, enough food to eat. If you’re having trouble with any of those things, please connect with us, and together we can make sure those needs, and many others, are met.
- Mass 211 - This is a free 24/7 confidential hotline that connects residents to various services (childcare, behavioral health, transportation, housing, shelter, emergency/disaster information, utility assistance, food insecurity, and more.)
- Housing Resources - The Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities maintains a list of housing assistance programs available across Massachusetts.
- Food Access Resources – If you are having difficulty finding healthy, consistent food to eat, please use
the resources below or reach out to the Center for Basic Needs Security for support.
- Visit The Pantry:
Monday – Thursday from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Students and Community members may shop once a month. Community may shop on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students can visit daily for snacks.

- Legal Resources - The Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General maintains a list of legal resources available across Massachusetts, including those for low-income individuals.
- Technology Resources – If you’re having difficulty accessing a capable computer, or WiFi network, please use the resources below or reach out to the Library
- Transportation Resources – If you are having difficulty accessing reliable transportation, please use the resources below, or reach out to the Center for Basic Needs Security for support.
- Rideshare & Carpooling – As a carpooler you have access to convenient carpool parking spaces located in parking lot #2. Looking for someone to share a ride with and be qualified to use convenient campus carpool spaces? Check out Baystatecommute.com.
- Bike to campus? Massasoit has bike racks that are located in our Quad and offers showers and lockers that are located in our gymnasium.
- Eligible Student Discounts – Students are often times eligible for reduced or no-cost items from many different companies and organizations, both locally and nationally. It never hurts to ask if an establishment offers students discounts!
